Students and faculty  of the Institute of International Relations   attended open lectures by Ilya Timoshkov, Head of   the „Verispeak” company within the framework of a grant from the Vladimir Potanin Foundation. Ilya Vitalievich spoke about online and offline  simultaneous translation, about a translation company as a startup,  creating  a  business in the language industry, a specialized application for simultaneous translation. During the round table in the USU History Museum, the faculty discussed topical issues of translation studies and  online training possibilities  for the  translators using a remote simultaneous translation service with  the "Verspeak"  specialists  technical support.
