USU is a partner of the «Xinhua» agency Representative Office in Moscow

Chinese Cultural Center in Moscow hosted the presentation of the "One Belt, One Road" new information portal. The portal was created with the participation of Xinhua, the official news agency of the Government of the People's Republic of China and the largest information center in China.

Boris Kostishko, USU rector, and   Erast Galumov, director of the Institute of Asia and Africa attended this event. At the presentation, a cooperation agreement was signed between Ulyanovsk State University and the Representative Office of the Moscow Bureau of Xinhua.

The agreement provides for the participation of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of USU and the Xinhua Economic Service in the implementation of a pilot project to create an educational and methodological center. The task of the structure will be to train qualified personnel in the field of organizing Russian-Chinese business relations.

It is symbolic that the document was signed on the day of the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, where, among other things, the implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative was discussed. The Head of State noted that the two states act synchronously in relation to Russia's idea of creating a large Eurasian space.
