A scientific and practical "Transport of the Future: challenges for Law” forum with the assistance of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Perm State National Research University, "LAWYER" Publishing Group and the regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia  was held at USU. The event was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators.

In his welcoming speech, USU rector Boris Kostishko expressed confidence that the forum in Ulyanovsk will give a new impetus to the development of the system of regulatory regulation of the transport sector, will be an excellent platform for meaningful discussions and exchange of experience. Vladimir Kononov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science and Higher Education of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, drew attention to the importance of the forum in the context of the rapid development of transport technologies, outlined the most important challenges facing representatives of legal science.
