On the eve of the preparation of the 50th largest festival of author's song and poetry named after Grushin, Samara State University, together with the International Grushin Academy, is holding an International Grushin Internet Competition.

The organization and holding of the contest are aimed at: supporting the development and popularization of the author's song and poetry; strengthening and developing ties between student, song and literary creative associations, amateur song clubs, collectives, contests and festivals; enabling participants from all over the world to present their works to the attention of professionals and the public; promoting a healthy lifestyle and tourism.

The competition will be held in three stages:

— January 1 to March 31 – the qualifying round -  "online"

— April 1 to April 30 – the semi—final - "online"  

— May 1 to June 5 - the final  -  "online"
