The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation visited the sights of the campus on the Sviyaga Embankment and USU laboratories named after Sergei Kapitsa. Dmitry Chernyshenko saw the developments of university scientists in the field of bioprinting, digital services, nonlinear and microwave photonics.
University researchers presented the technology of growing tumor models for their further implantation in laboratory animals - this is done for research and preclinical trials of drugs against oncological diseases. In addition, digital services, import-substituting solutions for aircraft engineering enterprises, microelectronics products, projects for the rehabilitation of people with neurological disorders were presented.
Boris Kostishko mentioned that thanks to the "Science and Universities" national project and participation in the "Priority 2030" program, the university's infrastructure was upgraded a lot.
Chernyshenko got acquainted with the projects of the participants of the digital accelerator, which was held these days at USU as part of the “Games of the Future” educational program.
