The competition is held by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation within the framework of the "Development of large-scale scientific and technological projects in priority research areas" federal project  of the "Science and Universities" national project. Based on the results of the selection, 20 organizations have been identified that will receive financial support.

The project of Ulyanovsk State University became one of the winners of the competitive selection, taking 11th place out of 58. The project is aimed at commercialization of the results of intellectual activity of the university. Its implementation will increase the readiness of the university's scientific and technological projects for transfer to the real sector of the economy and optimize the technology transfer infrastructure at the university.
