The composition of the USU Board of Trustees has been replenished with new members. The changes were approved at the general meeting of the organization. The trustees of Ulyanovsk State University included Alexey Russkikh, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Vladimir Kononov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, Vladimir Korzhenevich, Chief Physician of the Medical and Sanitary Unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Ulyanovsk Region, and Denis Kulikov, Director of "Granary" LLC.

Alexey Russian was unanimously elected President of the Board of Trustees, Vladimir Kononov – Executive Vice President.
