Valery Fadeev , Chairman of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights  to  the President of the Russian Federation visited the Ulyanovsk region on a working trip. At Ulyanovsk State University, he held a lecture and a meeting with the heads of higher educational institutions. The topic for discussion was the introduction of the "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood"  course in Russian universities from September 1.

The course provides the use of such educational technologies as discussions and debates, work in project groups, historical and business games, open lectures by politicians and statesmen, thematic workshops, podcasts. The course is being developed jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the " Znanie"  Society. In the conversation, the participants touched upon the issues of preserving the Russian language, migration, and social adaptation of foreign citizens in Russia.
