The team of Ulyanovsk State University participates in the international battle of robots. Robot Battle is an international platform for the exchange of experience in the field of robotics. This year 76 teams from 6 countries will meet at the championship. The task is to invent and construct a robot, and then control it to win in duels.

"The development of robotics is one of the promising areas in all sectors of the economy. The growth of domestic developments in this area will be an important step towards the technological sovereignty of the country. Such projects as the Battle of Robots combine sports excitement and scientific knowledge," said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

The first stage of the championship will be held in August, the second in October. The final of the Robot Battle will take place in December in Kazan as part of the international project "Games of the Future". Participants will compete for a prize pool of 6 million rubles. The organizers of the robot battle are the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the manufacturer of  Promobot  - humanoid robots.
