Anastasia Osipova and Yulia Kadyrova, graduates of USU`s Medical Faculty, received a scholarship from Harbin Medical University. They will study in China for three years with the writing of a doctoral thesis and the assignment of an appropriate degree.
Harbin Medical University is located in Heilongjiang Province, the university was founded in 1926 and today is known all over the world, thanks to participation in the "Human Genome" Chinese project, research in the field of oncology, heart transplantation.
Every year, the university selects and enrolls talented international students. This year, seven students from different countries of the world were selected under the scholarship program CIS-Chinese University Program, funded by the Chinese government. Among them are graduates of USU. According to Anastasia Osipova, the selection criteria were high academic performance and proficiency in English, in addition, it was necessary to submit a preliminary plan of doctoral work.
