Boris Kostishko, USU rector and Lyudmila Belova, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, discussed with colleagues the current issues of training medical personnel. The main topic was the results of the admission campaign. Pyotr Glybochko, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Educational Institutions, rector of Sechenov University shared the experience of strategic development of the university within the framework of the "Priority-2030" state program.

In addition, they discussed security issues and countering terrorism.

The participants approved the council's work plan for the academic year, summed up the results of thematic competitions among universities.
