The "Sambo Student League Cup" has ended in Kazan. The participants of the competition were full-time students and postgraduates who passed the selection. These are the winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian SAMBO competitions of the zonal stages in Tomsk, Grozny and Yekaterinburg. Yakov Zhidelev, a student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Rehabilitation of USU, entered the top three winners and won the bronze medal.

"I have been practicing Sambo for 10 years. In these competitions, my rivals were well prepared, the bronze was not easy for me. I think that you need to go to the competition only with a determined mindset to win," Yakov shares his impressions.
