Ulyanovsk State University retained its position and entered the second league of the National Aggregated Ranking 2024. It is compiled on the basis of 12 leading ratings, including the Interfax National University Rating, RAEX university ratings, the Hirsch Index rating, etc. All participating universities are divided into 10 leagues depending on the score (from the highest score "A" to the lowest "D").

The rating has been released for the sixth time, becoming a de facto unified scale for evaluating universities. It allowed universities to compare their results and achievements with other educational institutions at the institutional level. This stimulates competition between universities and encourages them to strive to improve their educational and scientific offerings.
