International students of USU took part in the Festival of Russian Speech dedicated to the upcoming anniversary of Pushkin – June 6 will mark the 225th anniversary of the poet's birth. The event was organized as part of the Linguistic Creative Workshop activity, where USU students prepared creative performances and improved their knowledge of the Russian language, getting acquainted with the culture of Russia.
Representatives of India, Egypt, Uganda, Chad, Israel, Tunisia, Mexico, Russia and the countries of the former USSR took part in the celebration. The participants read Pushkin's poems and fairy tales – the lines "I loved you..." sounded in six languages! - presented creative performances, answered quiz questions about the poet's work.
