Mr. Gong is not only a member of the governing body of the All-China Youth Federation, but is also the vice President of Tianjin University. The professor heads the department and several research centers in the field of chemical and energy engineering, is engaged in the modernization of the educational process, as well as the development of a network of smart campuses.

Gong Jinlong arrived in Ulyanovsk for the BRICS Youth Summit. At USU, the guest visited the museum of the university's history, campus locations, creative spaces, and discussed issues of working with youth in educational institutions with Tatyana Kirillova,  the Vice-rector for Youth Policy and Social Work
