Boris Kostishko, Rector of Ulyanovsk State University, is participating in the forum “Technological Leadership: A New Paradigm in Engineering Education,” held at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The forum aims to address essential goals of integrating educational institutions into national projects on technological leadership and to define the future trajectory of engineering education. The event has gathered representatives from federal government agencies, leading industrial companies, and universities with engineering programs that also serve as platforms for Advanced Engineering Schools.
The forum began with opening remarks by Russia’s Minister of Science and Higher Education, Valery Falkov. An expert report was presented by Mikhail Gordin, Rector of Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
Participants discussed key topics, including engineering training and the advancement of research and innovation activities at universities. An expert session, moderated by Dmitry Afanasiev, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, focused on “The Hybrid Engineer: Artificial Intelligence and Engineers of Technological Breakthroughs.”
