The National Research Ogarev Mordovia State University hosted the All-Russian Bilingual Olympiad on Normal and Pathological Physiology, titled "Secrets of Life," with international participants. A total of 42 teams competed in the preliminary online round, and only 25 teams advanced to the on-site stage, including the team from Ulyanovsk State University.
UGU’s team was represented by fourth-year medical students Virpura Meghrajsinh, Palanikumar Shan Supreiya, and Bardolia Bhaumik Manishkumar. During the practical round, the students conducted a laboratory experiment studying ECG changes under physical exertion. They successfully interpreted the data, explained all the mechanisms of cardiovascular system activity, and confidently answered all questions. The theoretical round was a blitz tournament, allowing only 30 seconds to consider each answer. The team claimed first place among all foreign teams. Congratulations!
