Ulyanovsk State University, being a member of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities, takes part in all the events of the organization.  Representatives of USU became participants of the first Summer school on gastroenterology, organized by the association on July 21-23.  

Ekaterina Lemaeva, a resident doctor of the Department of Hospital Therapy, and Anastasia Terekhina, a 6th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine and supporters from medical universities in Russia and China, improved their knowledge of digestive tract problems.

The event was held in a mixed format. The participants were welcomed by the co-chairman of the association, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Pyotr Glybochko, director of the summer school and head of the gastroenterology department of the second clinic of Harbin Medical University, Professor Qu Bo, Deputy Director of the second clinic of Harbin Medical University, Professor Wu Yajun.

Professors of Harbin Medical University gave thematic lectures on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system, together with the participants they analyzed cases with tasks from real clinical practice.

The exchange of international experience and scientific knowledge is necessary to achieve the best results in the treatment of patients.
