The competition accepts projects that are innovative, with the ultimate goal of creating prototypes of products and technologies that are competitive in the Russian and foreign markets. According to the results of the competition, an "Information catalog of the National Competition of Innovative projects of Young scientists "UL- INNOVO-2022" will be created, which will include the best of the submitted projects. The catalog will be posted on the Internet, submitted to the regional and federal authorities.

The aim is to identify the best innovative projects of young scientists, promote developments with innovative potential and the prospect of the implementation into production. The participants are students studying under the Bachelor's degree and/or specialty program of universities of the Russian Federation under the age of 25.
