1. Goals and objectives of the discipline
The objectives of the discipline: the formation of professional skills in caring for
surgical patients in the scope of work of junior medical personnel, and so
training of students in the principles of care for surgical patients;
first experience of professional activity in the scope of work of junior medical
staff, as well as the development of the competencies required to work in a professional
medical sphere.
The objectives of the discipline: - familiarity with the principles of observation and care for patients with surgical diseases of internal organs from the perspective of junior medical personnel; - acquaintance with instrumental and laboratory methods of investigation for diseases of internal organs - familiarity with the provision of pre-hospital medical care in urgent conditions in the clinic of internal diseases; - acquaintance with the organization of the sanitary regime of the functional units of the surgical hospital (sanitary and hygienic regime in the wards, the admission department, the procedure room); - the formation of abilities to organize the work of medical personnel of medical organizations, the definition of functional duties and the optimal algorithm for their implementation; - analysis of scientific literature and preparation of abstracts on modern problems of care for surgical patients.
