"Decade of Science and Technology: Medicine, Personnel, Laws" strategic session was held at the "Russian Healthcare Week-2022" International Scientific and Practical Forum under the chairmanship of  Vladimir Kononov,  Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, Honorary Professor of USU.

The session discussed trends in the development of modern medicine, the use of digital technologies, the quality of training, legislative regulation of health protection.

Heads of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, leading research centers of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Russian Academy of Sciences, scientists, specialists, and journalists were invited to participate in the session. Lyudmila Belova - dean of the Medical faculty of USU- attended  the session. She noted that one of the most important issues for solving health problems is the training of qualified personnel, young professionals with an active lifestyle, who are able to constantly learn, perceive new things, enrich science with fresh ideas.

"Being a classical university, USU provides students with the opportunity to create and implement interdisciplinary projects, including within the framework of the Rehabilitation project office. Interdisciplinary teams of medical students, designers, IT specialists, engineers, develop and create products that help people with disabilities adapt to the surrounding reality, achieve the most independent lifestyle. The university helps students in solving the problem of bringing projects from prototyping to production," Lyudmila  Anatolyevna noted.
